Architecture Preview
1. Who is the architect? Leo Chang
2. When was it built? Early 80's
3. Where is it located? 15 kilometers from the capital of Taiwan
4. Is it a private building or can you visit it? It can be visited by tourist
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build? No
6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? It was meant to be a hotel but was never completed
7. Why did you pick this building? I picked this building because I thought it was a very unique building. I personally think this a pretty stupid way to design a structure just because of the amount of money being spent and there not being much room or good looks to the building. I think the building shows a lot of creativity from the architect but I agree with having it demolished.

4. Is it a private building or can you visit it? Private
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build? $10,000,000
6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? Architect believed that people are not regular so why should they live in rectangles?
7. Why did you pick this building? I have seen this building in a couple films and I like how almost the majority of the side of the building is glass and how it kind of hangs to the side of the hill look out to the Colorado mountains. I would personally really like to leave in this house.

Caption Practice
Courtney Jackson smiles at the camera while watching the akins eagles football team play. She was very excited as the eagles scored a much needed touchdown to put them in the lead
Sophmore Brandon Watson shoots a perfect free throw to try and wrap up a win against hays. He was fouled while trying to shoot a 3-pointer to extend the lead.
(merger)- In the photo it almost looks like he has a third arm coming out from his left side
Football player Gabe Maldonado is detailing his nearly finished art project. His teacher request him that everything on the art piece be symmetrical to the opposite side of the page.
( Cropping) His arm is set down right at the bottom line of the photo leading the viewers eyes up to his shoulder then to what he is so focused on.
Wildlife trainer holds a rare South Eastern African Coconut Maple Owl. After this photo was taken the owl showed his astonishing ability to turn his head 360 degrees all the way around in a kind of "Exorcist" fashion.
(Merger) the lady right to the left of the owl looks as if she has buried her face into the side of the owl.

Africa
I personally liked this powerpoint a lot, just because of the subject. It was not boring at all and it can some very unique photos. I also liked the black and white, the softness of the photos gave the background of the animals to be in a kind of mystical place and it worked to the photographers adavantage.
My favorite photo would probably have to be the one of the lion laying down in a field under one big leaning tree that is leaning over the lion giving a perspective that the tree could fall on him.

Nick Brandt-
What kind of camer did he use?
He used a Pentax 6711 with two fixed lenses to take the photos
What is his reason for taking the photos?
He wanted to capture wildlife in a way that was not normal, by using the black and white, a medium-format camera and a portrait, wide angle lens.
What is his hope by taking these types of photos?
To capture a completely different perspective of wildlife in its natural habitat
Find something he has to say about Africa and post the quote on your blog...
"I had always wanted to somehow capture my passion for animals visually, and it was only when I visited East Africa that I realised that there was a way to achieve this"
